Sebran's ABC is freeware and teaches children to read and write.

One of the twelve exercises in Sebran is the classic hangman word-guessing game where you must guess letters in a word or short sentence until you can guess the word

Playing Hangman helps children with learning the alphabet, spelling and vocabulary. Several languages are supported, e.g. English, German, French and Spanish, and in each language there are more than 100 words or short sentences in the dictionary to choose from.
